Bart is a recognized professional within the aviation industry, having spent the majority of his career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Orlando, Florida. For the last 12 years, he served as the Manager of the FAA Orlando ADO (Airports District Office), helping guide the planning, development, and funding of projects for Florida airports. He and his staff from the FAA have played a crucial role in the advancement of aviation throughout the state in a safe and efficient manner, creating and updating important documents for planning and environmental programs, airport compliance, and project phasing, development, and funding. Prior to managing the Orlando ADO, Bart served in the assistant manager role for thirteen years after starting as a community planner during the first eight years of his FAA career. His longstanding tenure with the FAA ADO brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to continue to serve airports in his new role with AVCON.
