Lakeshore Shared Use Path
Deltona, FL
Cost $509K
Project Description
The primary objective of this FDOT LAP funded project was to provide a link off the adjacent East Central Rail Trail. Lakeshore Multi-use trail connects the East Central Rail Trail with Thornby Park, the Deltona Community Center and Green Springs Park. Design included a bike/pedestrian trail with sections narrowing due to constrictions. The trail connects the Thornby Park driveway to Green Springs Park by running parallel along Providence Boulevard, Lakeshore Drive, and Green Springs Road. Services included the design of curb ramps and vertical barriers or walls between the roadway and the trail, utility adjustments, stormwater drainage design, landscaping design, signing and marking design, and structures design.
